To rent, you'll need:

  • One valid government ID (INE, passport, or driver's license)
  • $500 MXN refundable deposit per bike
  • Rider's height within the bike's size range (we'll check at pickup)
  • Minimum age 16 to sign for a rental

Deposit & insurance

Refundable on drop-off.

We take a $500 MXN deposit per bike. It's returned in full when the bike comes back in the same condition. For your peace of mind, every bike carries basic liability coverage; we'll walk you through the details at pickup.

How much does it cost to rent a bike in Mexico City?

Rentals start at $150 MXN for 2 hours and scale up to $1,450 MXN for a full week. Bikes with speed gears cost an extra $100 per rental. Family or cargo bikes cost an extra $200. All prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN).

Where do I pick up the rental bike?

Pickup is at our shop near Paseo de la Reforma in central Mexico City. The exact pickup address is sent with your booking confirmation.

What do I need to bring to rent a bike?

What is Muévete en Bici, the Sunday bike ride on Reforma?

Every Sunday, Mexico City closes major avenues — including Reforma — to cars from 8am to 2pm. It's a citywide ride called Muévete en Bici. The calmest, most beautiful way to bike in CDMX.
